There is one Theme-Within-A-Theme Contest per year, but the subjects are selected two years in advance to give everyone plenty of time to work on them.
There is one Theme-Within-A-Theme Contest per year, but the subjects are selected two years in advance to give everyone plenty of time to work on them.
To explain the concept, suppose the club selected Architecture as the theme for next year. A member could choose from Office Buildings, Homes, Bridges, Doors, Gates, etc., anything related to architecture, but only one choice. So the entire club would have the same theme "Architecture" but each member would submit five photographs on their own theme within the master theme. Beginning in 2016, The Theme Within A Theme Contest was expanded to include viewing and voting by all Leisure World residents who select the "Viewer's Choice" award. Upcoming dates plus instructions for the contest can be found below.
